ABOUT ME

My name is Nathan Riddington and I'm a graphic designer & illustrator based on the northern beaches of Sydney, Australia.

I studied my Advanced Diploma in Commercial Arts at CATC Design School and since then have designed artwork, products and graphic campaigns for companies like DC comics, Optus, Football Australia, The Commonwealth Games, the NRL and AFL.

I'm an excellent illustrator (featured artist in "Pictoria Volume 2: The best contemporary illustrators worldwide.) I enjoy working in a creative team & have the experience and ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure. In previous jobs my responsibilities have included Logo design, website prototyping, interactive game designs, brand guidelines, social media templates, pitch decks, illustrations, event graphics, finished art, packaging design, concept art, advertisement, product design, EDM campaigns, product photography, operating and maintaining commercial printers and coordinating with major licensees for product and design approvals.

As a designer I’m inspired by my surroundings, I try to combine a love for travel, culture & history with my other various interests to develop a graphic identity that reflects what I’m passionate about. My vector artworks typically involve bold, complementary colours, tight line work and an attention to detail. I am highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, XD and Photoshop.

As a freelance graphic designer under the brand NR designs my goal is to help companies grow their image and develop creative themes and structures to succeed in a modern digital world.
